Tripod Partners are recruiting a Band 6 Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist for a locum role within North East London NHS. This position sits within a community physiotherapy service, supporting patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
The Physiotherapist will manage a caseload of MSK patients, providing assessment, treatment, and onward referrals where required. The role involves delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, supporting recovery, and improving functional outcomes for patients within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Manage an MSK caseload within a community setting.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
- Provide onward referrals where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and administrative records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Utilise clinical systems including RIO for record keeping and data management.
About You
You will be an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a strong background in
community or outpatient MSK services. You will demonstrate confident clinical reasoning and the ability
to manage a varied caseload independently.
You will also have strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and
multidisciplinary teams, as well as maintaining high standards of clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist.
- Experience using RIO system (essential).
- NHS Smartcard required.
- Experience with e-referrals desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills including use of Excel.
