Job details: Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist required for 12 weeks within the Mainstream Schools Team. JD available on request.
- Provide speech and language therapy services to children and young people in mainstream schools with speech, language or communication needs
- Undertake assessment, diagnosis and delivery of therapy packages within allocated schools
- Train and support school staff and parents to implement therapy advice effectively
- Support schools with early identification of speech, language and communication needs
- Prioritise safeguarding of vulnerable children at all times
- Support the service to achieve KPIs and maintain target activity levels
- Participate in audits and projects for the team and service
- Contribute to service development through feedback and ideas
