About the Roles
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking two Band 6 Occupational Therapists to join the team at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. These ongoing locum roles offer an excellent opportunity to support clinical services within a dynamic NHS setting. Further details are available via the full job description on request.
Main Responsibilities
Responsibilities will reflect the needs of the service and may include:
- Delivering high-quality, patient-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
- Managing a varied caseload appropriate to Band 6 level and clinical speciality.
- Contributing to safe, effective discharge planning and rehabilitation goals.
- Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with HCPC and NHS standards.
- Supporting service development and contributing to best practice within the department.
Requirements
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
- Relevant post-qualification experience suited to a Band 6 role.
- Strong assessment, communication and clinical reasoning skills.
- Able to work autonomously as well as within an MDT.
- Flexible and adaptable to service needs.
