Role Overview
A Band 7 Occupational Therapist is required to join the Therapy Inpatients service at Aintree Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OT to provide senior-level clinical input within an acute inpatient setting.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention to inpatient caseloads.
- Lead on complex clinical decision-making and discharge planning.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support patient flow and safe discharge.
- Offer clinical leadership, guidance and support to junior staff where required.
- Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and governance.
Skills & Experience Required
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
- Significant experience within acute inpatient services.
- Ability to manage complex cases and prioritise workload effectively.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Previous NHS experience essential.
