Job Details

The Disabilities Trust, trading as Brainkind, is seeking a Physiotherapist to provide cover for an ongoing vacancy at Stagenhoe Park, Hertfordshire.

This opportunity is for individual shifts, making it well suited to Physiotherapists seeking flexible locum work. The successful candidate will provide high-quality physiotherapy input within a specialist disability and rehabilitation setting, working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to support service users’ mobility, function and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention appropriate to individual service user needs.

  • Support service users to maximise their mobility, physical function and independence.

  • Develop and deliver appropriate rehabilitation programmes.

  • Monitor progress and adapt interventions according to clinical need.

  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.

  • Provide appropriate advice and guidance to service users, families, carers and colleagues.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.

  • Ensure all interventions are delivered safely and in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies.

  • Provide reliable cover for individual shifts as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy.

  • Current HCPC registration.

  • Previous physiotherapy experience within a rehabilitation, disability, neurological or community setting would be advantageous.

  • Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Flexibility to undertake individual locum shifts.

  • Commitment to delivering person-centred rehabilitation and supporting independence.
