Neuro Physiotherapist (Individual Shifts)

Brief Job Overview

Tripod Partners are recruiting a Neuro Physiotherapist for locum shift cover within a specialist neurological rehabilitation service in Buckinghamshire. This opportunity is based at Thomas Edward Mitton House, part of the Brainkind Business Unit, and will provide annual leave cover within a specialist neurorehabilitation setting.

The successful candidate will support individuals with acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, and complex rehabilitation needs, delivering high-quality physiotherapy interventions aimed at maximising independence, mobility, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist neurological physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
• Support individuals with acquired brain injuries and complex neurological conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based rehabilitation programmes.
• Assess mobility, balance, posture, strength, and functional abilities.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care.
• Provide advice and education to service users, families, and carers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional standards.

About You

You will be an experienced Physiotherapist with a background in 
neurological rehabilitation. You will have strong assessment and treatment skills and be confident working with individuals who present with complex neurological conditions.

You will be adaptable, proactive, and able to integrate quickly into an established multidisciplinary team while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience within neurological rehabilitation services.
• Experience working with acquired brain injury and complex neurological conditions desirable.
• Strong clinical reasoning and rehabilitation skills.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team working abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage clinical priorities effectively.
