Brief Job Overview
Tripod Partners are recruiting an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist for a locum opportunity with The Disabilities Trust t/a Brainkind, based at Stagenhoe Park, Hertfordshire.
This role is to provide cover for a vacancy and offers an opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join the service on an ongoing locum basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality Occupational Therapy input within the service.
- Undertake appropriate Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions based on individual needs.
- Support service users to maximise independence, function, and quality of life.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Apply professional clinical reasoning to assessment and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Work in accordance with professional standards, service policies, and safeguarding requirements.
About You
You will be an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist with the ability to work confidently within a specialist care environment. You will have strong assessment, intervention, communication, and clinical reasoning skills and be committed to delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy.
Requirements
- Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist within a relevant clinical or specialist setting.
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to person-centred practice and high-quality service delivery.
