Senior Occupational Therapist

Brief Job Overview

Tripod Partners are recruiting an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist for individual locum shifts with The Disabilities Trust t/a Brainkind at Stagenhoe Park. Working within Hertfordshire, you will provide senior Occupational Therapy support to the service, helping maintain continuity of high-quality rehabilitation and care while covering an existing vacancy.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Occupational Therapist who is confident working within a specialist care and rehabilitation environment and can provide effective clinical input as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Occupational Therapy input to service users within the setting.
• Complete appropriate Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions based on individual needs.
• Support service users to maximise their independence, function, and quality of life.
• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, person-centred care.
• Provide appropriate clinical advice and recommendations relating to Occupational Therapy.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional standards and service requirements.
• Contribute to the safe and effective delivery of Occupational Therapy services while covering the vacancy.

About You

You will be an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist with the ability to provide high-quality clinical input within a specialist rehabilitation or care environment. You will be confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team and committed to delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy interventions.

Requirements

• Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification.
• Current professional registration appropriate to Occupational Therapy practice.
• Experience working as an Occupational Therapist within a rehabilitation, health, or social care environment.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and clinical documentation skills.
• Commitment to person-centred practice and maintaining professional standards.
