- Senior Occupational Therapist required for a 3-month contract within the Independent Living Service
- Provide specialist occupational therapy input to support individuals with disabilities to live independently
- Work collaboratively with Social Workers, Community Assessment Officers (CAOs) and health professionals across the Council and NHS
- Deliver specialist assessments and provide advice on techniques, equipment, adaptations and support
- Recommend and arrange provision of equipment and home adaptations
- Support the organisation of short-term and long-term support where required
- Contribute to innovative approaches to integrated working across health and social care services
- Promote wellbeing, independence and improved outcomes for individuals and carers
