Job details: Occupational Therapist required to cover vacancy within the paediatric service. The role focuses on undertaking Education, Health and Care (EHC) Needs Assessments for children and young people aged 0–19.
- Undertake EHC Needs Assessments for children and young people aged 0–19
- Administer formal and informal/non-standardised occupational therapy assessments
- Complete detailed assessment reports to inform EHC plans
- Carry out assessments within mainstream school settings
- Work collaboratively with families, schools and multidisciplinary professionals
Essential skills/experience:
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration
- Experience undertaking EHC Needs Assessments and report writing
- Experience completing mainstream school-based assessments
- Competence in administering both formal and non-standardised assessments
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 17.00.
