- Skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist required to work as an Advanced Practitioner
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within social services
- Manage a complex caseload in line with statutory guidelines and Directorate policies
- Assess complex Occupational Therapy needs
- Undertake manual handling risk assessments
- Confident in prescribing complex equipment and signposting for simple equipment
- Knowledge of the Care Act and other relevant OT legislation
- Assess for major adaptations and prepare specifications
- Assess housing needs and undertake void assessments
- Provide a high-quality and comprehensive OT service to disabled adults, children, young people, carers and the wider community
- Work under the general direction of a Team Manager
- Supportive team environment with opportunities for CPD, internal training and reflective practice
