Brief Job Overview

Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust within Yorkshire NHS. This is an ongoing locum opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist with relevant UK NHS experience.

The successful candidate will bring established clinical experience within the NHS and work as part of the Occupational Therapy service to provide high-quality, patient-centred care. This role is suited to an Occupational Therapist who can work confidently within an NHS environment and apply their professional knowledge to support effective patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy input as part of the Trust’s clinical service.
• Apply professional Occupational Therapy knowledge and clinical reasoning to support patient-centred care.
• Assess patients’ Occupational Therapy needs and contribute to appropriate interventions.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and professional records.
• Work in accordance with NHS policies, professional standards and relevant clinical procedures.
• Maintain high standards of professional practice and contribute positively to the wider Occupational Therapy service.

About You

We are looking for a confident and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist with relevant UK experience within the NHS. You should be able to demonstrate sound professional judgement, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an NHS multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements

• Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Previous Band 6 Occupational Therapy experience.
• Relevant UK NHS Occupational Therapy experience is essential.
• Strong clinical reasoning and professional communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
