Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Band 6

Job Details: Occupational Therapist required for Acute Medicine.
- Provide high quality Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention within Acute Medical wards
- Manage a varied caseload of patients with complex medical presentations
- Complete functional assessments to support safe and timely discharge planning
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
- Recommend and arrange appropriate equipment and support services
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Skills / Experience:
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience working within an acute hospital setting, ideally Acute Medicine
- Strong discharge planning and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to manage own caseload autonomously
