Job Title: Community Occupational Therapist (2 roles)

Area: East Midlands Social Services

Salary: £negotiable

Job Type: Locum

Contract length: Ongoing

Job details:

 

2 x Community Occupational Therapists required to complete in-person assessments and reviews within the community. 
All reviews must be completed face to face. One office-based day per week is required.

 

  •  
  • Complete community-based Occupational Therapy assessments and reviews
     

  • Undertake Care Act and Mental Capacity Act assessments
     

  • Carry out manual handling assessments and risk assessments
     

  • Assess and recommend assistive technologies
     

  • Ensure all reviews are conducted face to face (no telephone reviews)
     

  • Work in line with statutory duties and local authority procedures

 

Requirements:

 

  •  
  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
     

  • Experience within community and local authority settings
     

  • Strong knowledge of Care Act and Mental Capacity Act legislation

 

Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 17.00
