Physiotherapist – Band 6

Job Overview

Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join Wirral Community Healthcare NHS Trust – St Catherine’s Health Centre in the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join a community-based service on an ongoing locum basis. The successful candidates will independently assess and treat MSK patients, supporting effective rehabilitation and patient outcomes across established MSK pathways.

2.5 WTE positions are available.

Key Responsibilities

•  
• Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions.
   

• Independently assess patients and develop appropriate, evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation programmes.
   

• Manage a clinical caseload effectively, using sound clinical reasoning to determine appropriate interventions.
   

• Work within established MSK pathways and contribute to the effective delivery of the service.
   

• Provide appropriate advice, education and self-management strategies to support patients with their recovery.
   

• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans according to clinical need.
   

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and NHS standards.
   

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to support high-quality patient care.

About You

We are looking for confident and experienced MSK Physiotherapists who are able to independently assess and treat a varied caseload of musculoskeletal patients.

You will have previous MSK outpatient experience and a good understanding of working within MSK pathways. Community or clinic-based experience would be desirable. You will be a strong communicator who can work effectively both independently and as part of a wider clinical team.

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
   

• Previous MSK outpatient physiotherapy experience.
   

• Ability to independently assess and treat MSK patients.
   

• Experience working within MSK pathways.
   

• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
   

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   

• Community or clinic-based experience is desirable.
   

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary service.
