Job Title: Occupational Therapy Transformation Manager

Area: Gloucestershire Social Services

Contract length: Ongoing

Job details: Occupational Therapy Transformation Manager required for 12 months – Independent Senior Service Design and Delivery. JD available on request.

 

The Manager for Occupational Therapy will lead the design, mobilisation, and scaling of the Occupational Therapy service in Gloucestershire.
Success in the role will be measured by the successful mobilisation of a safe and effective Occupational Therapy service delivering support for the Local Authority Occupational Therapy function for the people of Gloucestershire.

 

Working arrangements: Flexible, working alongside operational teams as required. Some office-based time each week is expected.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  •  
  • Translate strategic intent and the approved business case into operational service delivery
     

  • Lead the design, mobilisation and scaling of the Occupational Therapy service
     

  • Drive change management initiatives across Occupational Therapy services
     

  • Develop and implement benefits realisation plans
     

  • Work collaboratively with internal operational teams and external partners
     

  • Ensure delivery of a safe, effective and sustainable Occupational Therapy service

 

Skills and experience:

 

  •  
  • Strong understanding of Adult Social Care and the Care Act
     

  • Extensive knowledge of Occupational Therapy in prevention
     

  • Proven ability to translate strategic cases into operational delivery
     

  • Experience in service design, transformation and implementation
     

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership working skills
