Occupational Therapist
Brief Job Overview
Tripod Partners are recruiting five Occupational Therapists for locum roles within East Midlands Social Services. These positions will support occupational therapy teams across the service, helping to manage waiting lists and respond to urgent referrals.
The Occupational Therapists will work within adult social care services, delivering assessments and interventions that support independence, wellbeing, and safe living within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out occupational therapy assessments within adult social care services.
- Support the management of waiting lists and urgent referrals.
- Deliver person-centred interventions to promote independence and wellbeing.
- Work across different occupational therapy teams as required.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with professional standards.
- Support service users with equipment, adaptations, and functional assessments where appropriate.
About You
You will be a qualified Occupational Therapist with experience working within
adult social care services. You will demonstrate strong organisational and clinical
reasoning skills, with the ability to manage caseloads effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will be adaptable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support to
service users.
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working within adult social care services.
- Ability to manage assessments and urgent referrals effectively.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across teams and service areas.

- Salary: £33–34 per hour (Umbrella)
