Bath and North East Somerset Council (BANES) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality support and services to adults within the community, ensuring their well-being and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Conduct Care Act assessments, support planning, and Mental Capacity Assessments (MCAs) for adults and young people transitioning to adult services

  • Support and Guidance: Provide professional advice and support to service users, helping them navigate challenges and improve their quality of life.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.
  • Safeguarding: Undertake safeguarding enquiries in line with current legislation and procedures, ensuring the safety and protection of vulnerable adults
