ICU Nurse – Intensive Care Unit
Tripod Partners are seeking skilled ICU Nurses to join the Intensive Care Unit in Salisbury. This is a full-time position, requiring 7-day availability for a minimum 3-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialist critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions, ensuring high-quality nursing interventions.
- Monitor hemodynamic stability, recognizing early deterioration and escalating care as necessary.
- Administer IV infusions, vasoactive drugs, sedation, and blood products under ICU protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including respiratory therapists and intensivists, to optimize patient recovery.
- Operate and maintain advanced ICU equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Provide patient and family education, ensuring clear communication regarding care plans and treatment progress.
Position Details:
- Location: Salisbury
- Work Pattern: Full-time, 7 days a week (Days, Nights, and Weekends)
- Contract Length: 3 months minimum
- Rates:
- Weekday: £26.00 per hour
- Nights & Saturdays: £32.00 per hour
- Sundays & Bank Holidays: £40.00 per hour
- Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active NMC registration.
- Demonstrated experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Critical Care setting.
- Ability to manage airway emergencies, ventilator support, and complex medication administration.
- Strong teamwork and critical-thinking skills in a fast-paced ICU environment.
