ICU Nurse – Intensive Care Unit
Tripod Partners are currently seeking skilled ICU Nurses to join the Intensive Care Unit in Plymouth. This is a full-time role with 7-day availability required for a minimum of 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting.
- Perform detailed patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and implement rapid interventions as needed.
- Administer intravenous medications, ventilation support, and other life-sustaining treatments.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring seamless care transitions and continuity.
- Assist in emergency resuscitations, post-surgical recovery, and trauma management.
- Uphold infection control protocols and ensure compliance with hospital guidelines.
Position Details:
- Location: Plymouth
- Work Pattern: Full-time, 7 days a week (Days, Nights, and Weekends)
- Contract Length: 3 months minimum
- Rates:
- Weekday: £26.00 per hour
- Nights & Saturdays: £32.00 per hour
- Sundays & Bank Holidays: £40.00 per hour
- Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with NMC registration.
- Demonstrated experience in an ICU or Critical Care environment.
- Competency in advanced monitoring, ventilators, and emergency interventions.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills in high-pressure situations.
