View JobMedway Council is seeking passionate and dedicated Social Workers to join our Children’s Social Work Team. About You:
- Hold a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, PGC, CQSW, DipSW)
- Registered with Social Work England
- Completed your ASYE
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload, conduct assessments, and prepare SMART plans
- Work directly with children and young people to understand their lived experiences
- Use the Signs of Safety practice model in interventions
- Prepare reports for Child Protection Conferences, court proceedings, and other statutory meetings
- Maintain up-to-date records in line with GDPR
