Manage a caseload of complex adult social care cases, including safeguarding, mental health, hospital discharge, and long-term care planning, in line with the Care Act 2014.

Provide mentoring, guidance, and support to junior staff and newly qualified social workers, fostering high standards of practice and professional development.

Undertake detailed assessments and reviews using a strengths-based approach, ensuring personalised, outcome-focused support plans that promote independence and wellbeing.

Lead and coordinate Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure timely and proportionate risk management.

Apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) in day-to-day practice, including capacity assessments and best interest decisions.

Contribute to service improvement through audits, reflective practice sessions, and quality assurance processes to ensure best practice across adult social care.
