The role will focus on assessing, diagnosing, and providing interventions to support communication and swallowing needs, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Assess and manage adults with communication and/or swallowing difficulties.

Develop and implement evidence-based therapy programmes tailored to individual needs.

Provide advice, training, and support to patients, carers, and families.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across health and social care.

Support patients in achieving functional communication and safe swallowing.
-
Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to ongoing service development.
