Physiotherapist – Band 8 (MSK, Individual Shifts)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Band 8 MSK Physiotherapist to join HCRG Care Ltd at Wigmore Lane Health Centre in Bedfordshire. This locum opportunity is offered on a flexible, individual-shift basis, providing advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy care to a diverse outpatient caseload.
This role is ideal for a senior physiotherapist with extensive MSK experience, confident in providing expert clinical assessment, treatment, and mentorship within a busy private healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Conduct detailed musculoskeletal assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
– Deliver high-quality manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation programmes.
– Manage complex MSK presentations, including post-surgical, sports-related, and chronic pain cases.
– Work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
– Provide clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff or assistants where required.
– Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with professional, legal, and organisational standards.
– Promote best practice and contribute to service improvement initiatives within the physiotherapy department.
About You
You’ll be an accomplished MSK Physiotherapist with advanced clinical reasoning and the ability to manage a complex caseload independently. You will demonstrate a proactive and patient-focused approach, ensuring the highest standards of care delivery.
