Role is Hybrid
Start Date: ASAP
Placement Length: 12 Weeks
Working Pattern: 2-3 Days per week (15-22.5 hours)
Skills:
BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Services sufficient for registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Significant experience of medicine management and understanding its application in community settings
- Good up to date knowledge of drug use
- Understanding of issues involved in stock control
- Understanding of importance of monitoring quality of service
- Understanding of the need of confidentiality awareness at all times
- CPD portfolio demonstrating substantive experience of competent pharmacy practice.
- Post-qualification showing evidence of;
- Validated competence in dispensary services
- Experience of working to standard operating procedures
- Experience of contributing to standard operating procedures
- Customer orientated services
- Experience of patient medication counselling
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and autonomous working
- Demonstrate an understanding of primary and secondary care prescribing in relation to improving patient safety and medication
