Role Overview
A Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist is required to join the Community Therapies service, delivering high-quality SLT services across a range of community settings including clinics, nurseries, schools and colleges.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language therapy interventions within community settings.
- Manage a caseload that includes children and/or young people with complex needs.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop appropriate therapy plans.
- Work collaboratively with families, education staff and multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with Trust standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree (or equivalent).
- HCPC registration (essential).
- Experience working with complex needs.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously within a community setting.
