Location: Surrey Downs Health and Care – covering Mary Seacole Unit (Epsom General Hospital), Dorking Community Hospital, and Molesey Community Hospital

About the Role
  • We’re seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join the Surrey Downs Health and Care team as a Rotational Senior Clinical Pharmacist.
  • This role offers the chance to work flexibly across three community hospital sites, playing a key part in supporting patients living with frailty and complex medication needs.
In this position, you will:
  • Provide expert clinical pharmacy input across community hospital wards.
  • Review and optimise medicines for patients with frailty and polypharmacy.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver safe, patient-centred care.
  • Support service development by working alongside Principal and Lead Pharmacists to shape guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Take advantage of a wider Trust rotation, broadening your exposure to diverse specialties and building your leadership and management skills.
About You
 
We’re looking for GPhC-registered pharmacists who bring:
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience – ideally within frailty, older people’s services, or community hospitals.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills, with the ability to contribute confidently within an MDT.
  • A proactive, flexible approach and commitment to evidence-based care
