Key Responsibilities:

Chair statutory reviews for children in care, ensuring their voices are heard and their plans are timely, appropriate, and outcome-focused.

Monitor and scrutinise care planning and placements, promoting the best interests of the child and challenging delays or drift in decision-making.

Maintain independence while working collaboratively with social workers, carers, families, and partner agencies to drive high standards of care.

Report on performance and quality assurance issues, contributing to service development and continuous improvement within children’s social care.
