We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join our Adoption team. This role involves managing complex adoption cases, supporting adoptive families, and contributing to the delivery of a high-quality, child-centred adoption service.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage complex adoption cases: Lead assessments, matching, and support for children and prospective adoptive families, ensuring compliance with legal and safeguarding standards.

Provide supervision and mentorship: Support and guide less experienced social workers and adopters through the adoption process.

Liaise with multi-agency partners: Work collaboratively with courts, legal teams, health, education, and other professionals to safeguard children’s welfare.

Contribute to service development: Participate in audits, training, and service improvement initiatives to enhance adoption practice and outcomes.
