Warwickshire County Council is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Qualified Social Worker to join our Adults Safeguarding Team in a specialist Achieving Best Evidence (ABE) role. This important position supports the most vulnerable adults across the county by conducting formal ABE interviews in line with safeguarding procedures and legal standards. If you are confident working in sensitive situations and passionate about justice and protection for adults at risk, we welcome your application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Achieving Best Evidence (ABE) interviews with adults who have experienced or are at risk of significant harm, ensuring all processes meet legal and evidential standards.

  • Work in close partnership with police and legal teams as part of safeguarding investigations, contributing to criminal justice outcomes where appropriate.

  • Support vulnerable adults through trauma-informed practice, ensuring care and protection are embedded in every step of the safeguarding process.

  • Prepare detailed interview records and professional reports, maintaining high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with the Care Act 2014.
