Pharmacy Technician – Croydon

Tripod Partners is recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician to join an NHS service in Croydon on a temporary basis for 3 to 6 months. The role offers a flexible hourly pay rate, which will be negotiated based on your experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, dispense, and supply medications in accordance with prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Perform clinical checks and audits to ensure the safe use of medications.
- Participate in stock management, including ordering, receiving, and storing medication.
- Provide support to patients, offering advice and information on medication usage and side effects.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and patients to promote safe and effective medication use.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure data protection and confidentiality standards are upheld.
Requirements:
- GPhC Registration as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Previous experience in an NHS setting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage workload under pressure.
