Tripod Partners is currently recruiting for a Band 6-7 Pharmacist to join an NHS service in Liverpool. This is a temporary role with a competitive hourly pay rate, depending on your level of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services across various hospital wards, ensuring appropriate medication management for patients.
- Conduct clinical assessments and offer professional advice on the safe and effective use of medications.
- Review and verify prescriptions to ensure they are accurate and legally compliant.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the management of patient care.
- Provide medication counselling and support for patients, ensuring they understand their prescribed treatment.
- Support the dispensary team and ensure stock control and medicines management processes are adhered to.
Requirements:
- GPhC Registration as a Pharmacist.
- Experience working within NHS hospital settings is essential.
- Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, with a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments.
