Coventry City Council is looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to support the Adult Inpatient service. This role will involve undertaking Best Interest Assessments and delivering high-quality occupational therapy for individuals with learning disabilities and general medical needs, with a focus on equipment provision and adaptations to promote independence.

Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for adults in inpatient settings

Undertake Best Interest Assessments in line with statutory requirements

Provide specialist interventions for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs

Deliver rehabilitation and support within a general medicine framework

Recommend, prescribe and oversee the use of equipment and adaptations to enhance daily living

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure person-centred and effective care
