This role will focus on providing specialist assessment and therapy, including Best Interest Assessments, for patients with dysphagia in acute and rehabilitation settings.

Undertake comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions for adult patients

Conduct Best Interest Assessments in line with statutory requirements

Deliver tailored dysphagia management programmes to support safe swallowing and nutritional needs

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
-
Support patients and families with guidance, advice, and education to optimise outcomes

Contribute to service development initiatives and provide guidance to junior staff where required
