Whether you’re newly qualified or experienced, you’ll play a key role in supporting children, young people, and families across Hampshire, helping to improve lives and outcomes through restorative, child-focused practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake statutory social work tasks including assessments, Section 47 investigations, child protection conferences, and care planning.

Build meaningful relationships with children, young people, and their families to support change and keep children safely at home where possible.

Collaborate with schools, health professionals, and other agencies to provide coordinated, wraparound support.

Prepare high-quality reports and present in multi-agency forums including legal proceedings, reviews, and panels.
Requirements:
-
Qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England
-
Knowledge of child development, safeguarding frameworks, and key legislation (Children Act 1989/2004)
-
Strong communication, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills
-
Experience in statutory children’s social work (preferred, but ASYE applicants also welcome)
