View JobEaling Council is seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join the Adults Safeguarding Team. This role involves leading safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act 2014, working with vulnerable adults at risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to protect and empower adults at risk.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate safeguarding investigations in line with the Care Act 2014 and local safeguarding protocols.

Conduct risk assessments and develop protection plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of adults at risk.

Work in partnership with service users, carers, and professionals across health, housing, and voluntary sectors.

Contribute to strategy meetings, best interest decisions, and Mental Capacity Act assessments as required.

Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive records and reports in compliance with statutory and council standards.
