Undertake statutory responsibilities under the Children Act 1989 and related legislation, including child protection, care proceedings, and children in need assessments.

Manage a varied and complex caseload using a child-centred, strengths-based approach, ensuring the voice of the child is central to all decisions.

Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including education, health, and the police, to develop integrated and timely interventions.

Receive regular, reflective supervision and access to a strong professional development offer through the council’s CPD programme.
