View JobWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children’s Social Worker with a minimum of three years’ statutory experience to join our frontline children’s services team. The successful candidate will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of child protection, safeguarding procedures, and legal frameworks while managing complex caseloads and delivering high-quality, child-centred practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake statutory assessments under the Children Act 1989, including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children.

Manage a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely interventions and consistent planning to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

Work in partnership with families, schools, health, police, and other professionals to assess risk, plan interventions, and achieve positive outcomes.

Prepare and present clear, evidence-based reports for child protection conferences, legal proceedings, and court hearings.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date case recordings in line with legislative requirements and organisational policies.
