View JobClackmannanshire Council is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children and Families team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people across the county. You will be part of a supportive and dynamic service that prioritises relationship-based practice, early intervention, and child-centred approaches in line with the Scottish Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC) framework.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake child protection investigations and assessments under relevant Scottish legislation, including the Children (Scotland) Act 1995 and the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014.

Work in partnership with children, families, and multi-agency colleagues to develop and implement effective care, protection, and permanence plans.

Prepare high-quality reports for Children’s Hearings and courts, and attend legal and statutory meetings as required.

Maintain accurate and timely case recordings in accordance with Clackmannanshire Council’s procedures and professional codes of practice.
