Norfolk County Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Band 8a Pharmacist to take a senior role within the hospital pharmacy team, specialising in haematology and oncology. This role offers the opportunity to lead pharmacy services, oversee medicines distribution, and support the development of pharmacy staff while ensuring safe and effective care for patients with complex conditions.

  • Lead and oversee haematology and oncology pharmacy services, including medicines management and distribution.

  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to healthcare professionals on safe and effective use of medicines for oncology and haematology patients.

  • Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacy technicians, junior pharmacists, and other team members.

  • Drive service improvement, audit, and quality assurance initiatives to enhance pharmacy operations and patient outcomes.

  • Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and governance within the pharmacy department.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver integrated, patient-centred pharmacy services.
