We are seeking a committed and experienced Social Worker to join our Fostering Team. In this role, you will support the recruitment, assessment, supervision, and development of foster carers, ensuring placements meet the needs of looked-after children and promote positive long-term outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess and approve foster carers: Undertake Form F assessments and present cases to the fostering panel in line with national fostering regulations.

Provide supervision and support: Offer regular visits, reflective supervision, and tailored support to foster carers to promote stability and high standards of care.

Match children with appropriate placements: Work closely with placement teams and children’s social workers to ensure suitable, child-centred foster placements.

Deliver training and development: Contribute to foster carer preparation groups and ongoing training to build skills, resilience, and compliance with fostering standards.
