This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people in care, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard through consistent, relationship-based social work.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of looked after children, ensuring regular visits, reviews, and care planning.

Work collaboratively with foster carers, families, health, and education professionals to meet children’s needs.

Prepare and present reports for LAC reviews, permanency planning meetings, and court where necessary.

Support children and young people in achieving stability, emotional wellbeing, and positive long-term outcomes.

Maintain high-quality, up-to-date records and ensure compliance with statutory duties and local policies.
