This role offers the opportunity to provide specialist assessment and intervention for patients with cancer-related communication and swallowing difficulties, supporting rehabilitation, independence, and quality of life.

Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for adults with oncology-related communication and swallowing disorders.

Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to patient needs.

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, patient-centred care and facilitate discharge planning.

Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and supervision to junior therapists, assistants, and students.

Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance oncology speech and language therapy services.

Offer education and support to patients, families, and carers to optimise engagement and therapy outcomes.
