This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality interventions within general medicine, with a strong focus on moving and handling, equipment provision, and adaptations to promote independence and safety at home.

Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for adults with varied health and social care needs.

Recommend and arrange suitable equipment and adaptations to maximise independence and safety.

Provide specialist moving and handling advice, including the use of hoists, stand aids, and other assistive equipment.

Develop tailored intervention plans to support patients in managing daily living activities.

Work collaboratively with social care teams, health professionals, and external agencies to deliver coordinated support.

Contribute to service improvement initiatives and provide supervision and guidance to less experienced staff where required.
