The successful candidate will support individuals with mental health needs through statutory assessments, care planning, and safeguarding interventions.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Mental Health Act assessments and contribute to care and treatment planning in line with statutory requirements.

Carry out capacity assessments and best interest decision-making to support individuals’ rights and wellbeing.

Work collaboratively with health professionals, carers, and community agencies to coordinate care and promote recovery.

Manage safeguarding enquiries and implement protection plans to reduce risks for vulnerable adults.

Maintain comprehensive, accurate case records on the council’s electronic system.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, supervision, and professional development activities.
