View JobThe Isle of Man Department of Medical Services (DMS) is seeking an experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist for a 3-month fixed-term contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care across a variety of clinical settings. You will play a key role in leading complex assessments, interventions, and service developments that promote independence and enhance the wellbeing of patients.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for patients across diverse clinical settings.

Manage complex caseloads autonomously, using clinical expertise to inform decision-making and prioritise care.

Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff, students, and assistants as required.

Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including medical, nursing, and social care colleagues, to coordinate holistic patient care.

Contribute to service improvement initiatives, audit, and quality assurance to enhance therapy provision.

Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and ensure adherence to professional standards and local policies.
