View JobWe are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join the Children in Need team in Wiltshire on a 3-month locum contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and families, undertaking assessments, and ensuring that effective safeguarding measures are in place to support children’s welfare and development.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of Children in Need and Child Protection cases in accordance with statutory guidelines.

Undertake comprehensive assessments, care planning, and reviews under the Children Act.

Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and professionals to implement effective support plans.

Participate in multi-agency meetings, case conferences, and core group discussions.
-
Ensure timely and accurate recording of all casework on the relevant systems.
-
Adhere to relevant legislation, local policies, and professional standards set by Social Work England.
