The London Borough of Havering is seeking a highly experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to step into a Team Manager role within our social care team. In this leadership position, you will play a critical role in managing and mentoring a team of social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children, families, and vulnerable adults. You will oversee case management, contribute to the strategic direction of the service, and ensure the team adheres to statutory regulations and best practices.   • Position: Team Manager – Qualified Social Worker (QSW)

  • Location: Havering, East London

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead a team of social workers, providing supervision, support, and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality social care services.

    • Manage a complex caseload, ensuring the development and implementation of effective care plans in line with statutory requirements.

    • Oversee safeguarding and risk management practices, leading investigations and interventions for children and vulnerable adults.

    • Support team members in their professional development, providing mentoring and coaching to foster growth and best practice.

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for improving service delivery and achieving positive outcomes.

    • Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
