Join Southampton City Council’s Adults’ Services as a Qualified Social Worker, supporting adults with care and support needs to live safely, independently, and with dignity.

Undertake strengths-based assessments, care planning, and risk management under the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and other key legislation.

Manage a caseload that may include older adults, people with physical or learning disabilities, and those with mental health needs, ensuring personalised and outcome-focused support.

Work collaboratively with families, carers, health services, and community organisations to deliver integrated, preventative, and timely interventions.

Safeguard vulnerable adults by identifying and responding to abuse, neglect, or self-neglect, contributing to multi-agency safeguarding processes where necessary.
