Manage complex and high-risk adult social care cases on behalf of City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, including safeguarding, mental capacity, and hospital discharge planning.

Provide professional support, guidance, and informal supervision to social workers and students, promoting reflective, strengths-based, and person-centred practice.

Undertake and oversee Care Act 2014 assessments, reviews, and risk assessments, ensuring care plans meet legal requirements and support individual wellbeing and independence.

Lead safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act, coordinating multi-agency responses and developing effective protection plans for adults at risk.

Prepare and quality-assure reports, documentation, and assessments for best interest decisions, Continuing Health Care (CHC) panels, and legal proceedings where required.

Contribute to service development and quality assurance across the team, supporting audits, reflective learning, and continuous improvement within Bradford’s Adult Services.
