Lead on complex and high-risk cases for Staffordshire County Council, including Child Protection, Looked After Children, and court proceedings, ensuring robust assessments and effective interventions.

Provide professional guidance and informal supervision to social workers and students, promoting reflective practice and supporting workforce development.

Complete high-quality assessments and develop outcome-focused, child-centred care plans in line with statutory duties and local policies.

Prepare and quality-assure analytical, evidence-based reports for child protection conferences, looked after reviews, and legal proceedings.

Liaise with multi-agency professionals to coordinate safeguarding responses and ensure that children and families receive timely, appropriate support.

Contribute to service improvement initiatives, case audits, and team learning activities, supporting Staffordshire’s commitment to continuous practice development.
