Locum Child Protection Team Manager

The London Borough of Havering is seeking a highly experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to step into a Team Manager role within our social care team. • Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of social workers, providing supervision, support, and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality social care services.

  • Manage a complex caseload, ensuring the development and implementation of effective care plans in line with statutory requirements.

  • Oversee safeguarding and risk management practices, leading investigations and interventions for children and vulnerable adults.

  • Support team members in their professional development, providing mentoring and coaching to foster growth and best practice.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for improving service delivery and achieving positive outcomes.

  • Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
